  • Experience supporting repair & overhaul (R&O) operations and aftermarket environments.

As a Global Test Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Global Test Equipment Strategy & Lifecycle Management

Test Equipment Reliability & Performance Improvement

  • Partner with site sustainment, operations and product engineering teams to analyze and Pareto test equipment issues across global sites.

  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability, uptime, utilization and throughput.

  • Work with product engineering on ways to improve test equipment efficiency at running ATPs and improving first past yield (FPY).

  • Work with Test Equipment design & sustainment teams to implement design improvements and upgrades to existing equipment.

  • Define and track key performance metrics (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, FPY, uptime) and develop improvement plans.

Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional projects related to test equipment upgrades, deployments, and modernization.

  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk for upgrade projects.

  • Support generation of capital requests for new/upgraded Test Equipment.

  • Create capital funding requests for test equipment projects and present to capital approvers for approval.

  • Drive alignment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain organizations.

Aftermarket & Customer Support Strategy

  • Provide oversight for support of non-Moog aftermarket partnership sites that have Test Equipment.

  • Drive improvements in aftermarket test equipment support responsiveness, availability, and lifecycle support.

Supplier Test Equipment Support

  • Provide technical oversight and support for Moog-owned test equipment located at supplier facilities.
