Build the Future with Us — EquipmentShare is Hiring a Fueling Lead - Site Solutions

At EquipmentShare, we’re not just filling a role — we’re assembling the best team on the planet to build something that’s never been built before. We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.

We’re hiring a Fueling Lead - Site Solutions to own every aspect of diesel fuel handling across the company’s hyperscale/megasite campuses: emergency standby generator fuel systems, bulk aboveground storage, day tanks, fuel transfer and dispensing, fuel quality testing and polishing, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) supply and handling for Tier 4 emissions-controlled units. All fuel storage across the portfolio is aboveground, there are no underground storage tanks at any site.

The Fueling Lead - Site Solutions will be the point of accountability for fuel availability and quality, environmental and transportation compliance, workforce competency, and the performance and development of the General Managers (Fueling) at each site.

This role requires up to 60% travel across the US.

Primary Responsibilities

EquipmentShare is more than just a rental company. With our proprietary T3 technology, we’re transforming how construction companies manage their equipment and operations by providing real-time insights into fleet availability, usage, and performance.

  • Lead and develop Fueling General Managers across onsite locations including hiring, onboarding, performance management, certification, staffing, succession planning, and HR partnership.
  • Drive consistent multi-site operations and performance through standardized SOPs, operating reviews, compliance/training oversight, staffing optimization, and cross-site resource coordination.
  • Own end-to-end diesel supply and fuel operations across onsite locations including contracts, deliveries, emergency supply, SOPs, inventory accuracy, runtime targets, and generator readiness.
  • Lead fuel quality and reliability programs, including ASTM testing, contamination control, fuel polishing, filtration, sampling, and inventory/loss management.
  • Own environmental, fuel storage, and fire-safety compliance across applicable sites, including SPCC/FRP plans, AST permitting and inspections, tank design/standards, secondary containment, NFPA requirements, air permits (NSPS/NESHAP/Title V), emissions controls, EPCRA, and stormwater obligations.
  • Lead transportation, regulatory, and audit compliance for fuel operations, including DOT/FMCSA requirements, driver and equipment compliance, documentation, inspections, agency/client audits, incident investigations, and maintaining audit-ready records.
  • Own and deliver fuel safety training and qualification programs for technicians, drivers, and operations teams, covering fuel/DEF handling, spill response, HAZWOPER, hazcom, LOTO, confined space, hot work, fire safety, PPE, and hazmat driving.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and incident response for fuel spills, fires, tank failures, and supply interruptions, including drills, vendor coordination, investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Drive compliance and operational performance through site audits, field observations, corrective-action tracking, and executive KPI reporting on fuel availability, spills, training, audits, and costs.
