What is Expert Project Management Product & Platforms?

The function plays a critical role in driving digital innovation and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) within the enterprise solutions stream. This role is responsible for overseeing all technological developments, ensuring that digital platforms and applications are continuously enhanced to meet evolving business and customer needs. It also involves managing the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—ensuring timely and high-quality releases.

The role will also identify opportunities to leverage AI and intelligent automation to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve decision-making, and enhance digital customer journeys.

What does an Expert Project Management Product & Platforms do? 

Key responsibilities

1. Digital Product & Platform Development

• Manage and deliver end-to-end development and enhancement initiatives for B2B digital platforms, portals, applications, and self-service channels.
• Manage and continuously enhance the E-Care Platform / Jazz Business World (JBW) and associated digital channels.
• Translate business and customer requirements into functional requirements, user journeys, process flows, and system solutions.
• Work with Product Owners, Architects, UX/UI, Engineering, and Technology teams to ensure platform capabilities align with business objectives.
• Define and maintain platform roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and release plans.
• Identify platform gaps and recommend scalable solutions to improve usability, functionality, performance, and customer experience.
• Ensure new digital capabilities are delivered with appropriate controls, security, scalability, and operational readiness.

2. Project & Change Management

• Lead end-to-end projects from requirement gathering and solution discovery through implementation and post-launch stabilization.
• Develop project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and governance mechanisms.
• Manage Change Requests, including requirement gathering, impact assessment, solution discovery, business case preparation, approvals, development, UAT, and deployment.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies, including Agile/Waterfall practices as applicable.
• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing for platform, product, and system enhancements.
• Ensure solutions meet approved business requirements before production deployment

3. System & API Integration

• Coordinate system integration initiatives across B2B products, platforms, portals, and enterprise systems.
• Work with Technology and Architecture teams to define and validate API and integration requirements.
• Review BRDs, HLDs,  API specifications, and functional designs to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Identify system dependencies, integration gaps, and technical constraints and drive their resolution.

4. AI & Intelligent Automation

• Identify practical opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation for business and customer-related processes.
• Explore AI-enabled solutions for activities such as data analysis, customer query handling, document processing, reporting, requirement analysis, and operational workflows.
• Support evaluation and implementation of AI use cases in collaboration with Technology, Data, and relevant business teams.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve productivity in areas such as requirement analysis, process mapping, reporting, documentation, and project monitoring.
• Ensure AI-based solutions are implemented with appropriate business controls, data privacy, governance, and human oversight.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key liaison between Business, Product, Technology, Operations, CX, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Translate technical concepts into business requirements and communicate business needs effectively to Technology teams.
• Support regional and CX teams on projects impacting business processes and customer experience.

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in digital transformation, project management, enterprise solutions, product/platform development, business process improvement, or technology-enabled transformation.
• Proven experience in managing digital platforms, portals, applications, product development, and technology projects.
• Experience in requirements management, solution discovery, business case development, UAT, and production deployment.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, enterprise applications, and digital architecture.
• Experience in process redesign, automation, and digital customer journeys.
• Basic understanding and practical exposure to AI, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled productivity tools will be preferred.
• Scrum Master/Agile certification or practical experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
