It is required to introduce new Avionic Systems Engineers reporting to the Senior AW249 Avionic System Engineer, with particular focus on the design, development, test and qualification of the AW249 Avionic systems. These include navigation, communication, mission, weapon and electronic warfare as well as the core vehicle and flight management systems.
The main activities to be performed are:
- Requirements analysis starting from the customer and certification authority requirements;
- Avionic system requirement and architecture definition & development.
- Definition, management and execution of sub-system test procedures including Integration and validation activities with real & simulated equipment on a full scale integration rig and support to aircraft ground & flight testing.
- Interaction with other internal Departments (Avionic sub-system teams, CPE, FTE, Pilots, Procurement, etc.) and customers.
- Supplier technical management, support to equipment qualification and aircraft homologation.
The resource required for this position shall be extremely motivated, stimulated by new technologies and the aviation industry. In detail the candidate shall have the following characteristics:
• engineering degree, preferably Aeronautical/Aerospace, Electronics, Telecommunications;
• problem solving experience at a technical level;
• communication skills within an international and intercultural environment;
• focused to work within deadlines, standards, rules and objectives.
• excellent team working capabilities;
• proactive approach;
• available to travel for short/medium periods;
Past experience in Avionic System/Subsystem Design and Development is an advantage.

How does the selection process work?
