Clarke Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineer, responsible for the design, coordination and delivery of electrical systems for turnkey projects, from concept development through to commissioning and handover. 
Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, suppliers and contractors, you will provide technical leadership and ensure engineering solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, supporting both new project delivery and existing Clarke Energy operating sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:
•    Deliver electrical designs and detailed engineering documentation for power generation and energy infrastructure projects
•    Coordinate and support multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with engineers and draftspersons
•    Ensure electrical designs meet project objectives, specifications, statutory requirements and company standards
•    Support tender development, engineering estimates and proposal activities
•    Coordinate external consultants and specialist engineering studies where required
•    Liaise with clients to establish and clarify project objectives and technical requirements
•    Manage procurement activities for electrical equipment and materials
•    Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors throughout project delivery
•    Provide technical support during construction, commissioning and testing activities
•    Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders
•    Assist with supplier evaluations, negotiations and performance management
•    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering systems, processes and design standards
•    Support the development and mentoring of technical team members
•    Attend factory inspections and factory acceptance testing when required
•    Assist with operation and maintenance documentation and project handover activities.

What You’ll Bring:
•    Bachelor of Engineering qualification
•    Experience in electrical engineering within power generation, energy, industrial, mining or related industries
•    Strong understanding of electrical design principles and project delivery processes
•    Experience coordinating engineering activities across multiple projects
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing
•    Ability to build effective relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
•    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
•    Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to delivering outcomes
•    Current Driver's Licence (essential)
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
•    Experience with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD will be highly regarded.
