Salary – Starting from £29,432 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Raynes Park Nursery, situated just a 5 minute walk from Raynes Park train station, with excellent public transport links, including several bus stops within a few minutes walk. There is also some on-street parking close by.

Our Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery is based just a short walk from the high street- great for grabbing a coffee at lunch time! The lovely 62-place setting features large and well-resourced rooms, and a great outdoor garden with play equipment.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.  

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
