Action Day Schools is looking for a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. For nearly 60 years, Action Day Schools has been a trusted part of the Bay Area community, providing high-quality early education, private elementary and middle school, and enrichment programs for children and families.

As part of our small and collaborative marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will play an important role in how we connect with current and prospective families across our digital channels. This is a full-time, on-site position, working from our Corporate Office in West San Jose. It combines digital marketing strategy, analytics, vendor management, project management, and hands-on execution.

We are looking for someone who is confident and proactive, but also collaborative and relationship-focused. Someone who can look at the bigger picture, keep projects moving, and isn't afraid to jump in and help with the details when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with our digital advertising agency and other marketing vendors, ensuring projects stay on track and our marketing investments are being used effectively
• Review digital advertising performance across Google, Meta, and other channels, working with agency partners to identify opportunities for continued optimization
• Manage relationships with digital platforms and partners including Yelp, Niche, PrivateSchools.com, Bay Area Parent, and others
• Partner with our SEO agency to support SEO strategy, website optimization, keyword opportunities, and content development
• Create and coordinate digital content as needed, including promotional emails, website copy, blog posts, and other marketing communications
• Oversee social media strategy and support the team members responsible for day-to-day content creation and posting
• Track and report on social media engagement, digital campaign performance, lead generation, website activity, and other key marketing metrics
• Analyze marketing spend and performance across channels and make recommendations to improve results and maximize our investment
• Manage marketing projects from planning through completion, coordinating with internal team members, vendors, and partners to keep timelines and deliverables on track
• Help identify new marketing opportunities and bring forward ideas that strengthen awareness, engagement, lead generation, and enrollment
• Jump in where needed to support the marketing team, whether that means leading a larger initiative or helping execute a smaller, time-sensitive project

Compensation Range: $90,000- $98,000 per year

Requirements

What You Bring to the Organization:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of digital marketing experience
• Strong understanding of digital advertising, SEO, social media, email marketing, websites, and digital analytics
• Experience working with and managing marketing agencies, vendors, or outside partners
• Ability to understand marketing data and translate it into clear recommendations and next steps
• Strong project management, organization, and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build positive, productive relationships with different personalities and teams
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership, solve problems, and follow through
• Comfortable moving between big-picture strategy and hands-on marketing needs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, or similar platforms is a plus!
