Job Description Summary
The Data Science Intern will work in a team to research, develop and implement Artificial Intelligence based solutions across various disciplines in GE Aerospace under the guidance of senior team members. In this role, as part of the Data Science & AI team, the candidate will contribute to the development and deployment of modern machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical & probabilistic methods, operations research, semantic analysis etc. for finding structure in data sets within the Corporate Functions of GE Aerospace.Job Description

Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.
Essential Responsibilities
- Be a part of development team to work on Data Science technologies (GenAI, Python, cloud platforms, statistics, machine learning, deep learning)
- Work closely with an identified mentor on allocated projects. Analyze, design, test and integrate components, that meet business standards and program / product requirements.
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with organization policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present technical data & document and communicate the results of technical data generated.
Ideal Candidate:
This internship opening is to enable students to work on exploratory projects in Data Science and to contribute to digital solutions based on the identified problems.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Students of B. Tech [3rd Year or 4th Year] or M. Tech [1st Year or 2nd Year] from reputed institutes
- Candidate has to be from CS/IT stream with Data Science or AI Specialization (preferred)
- Eligibility Criteria: 7 CGPA/ 70 Percentage & above (with no active backlogs)
- NOC from college authorities to be submitted before offer issuance.
