Data Center Electrical Applications Engineer

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Applications Engineer to support the design and implementation of electrical power solutions for data center environments. This role combines engineering, customer support, technical documentation, and field coordination.
You will work with customers, consultants, contractors, sales teams, and internal engineering groups to develop practical electrical solutions and support projects from initial requirements through production, installation, and startup.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in applications, field, and/or design engineering involving data center electrical infrastructure.
- 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Strong knowledge of data center electrical architecture, including:
- UL 891 switchboards
- PDUs
- STSs
- Power redundancy strategies such as N+1 and 2N
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically as required.
