Job Description
Position Purpose:
The role is responsible for delivering data analysis and establishing automated reporting, controls and monitoring for the BROKK team on both ad‑hoc and scheduled bases, leveraging a suite of analytical tools and SQL. The BROKK team is part of GM IT and addresses tariff, invoice and fee‑data control & monitoring across four pillars:
- Data/Business Analysis: Perform and document analysis, review and study of tariff, invoice and fee data; understand business changes, assess impact and cost.
- Data Visualization: Provide dashboards that present tariff usage, invoice acquisition status and fee‑taxonomy in an appealing, user‑friendly way.
- Data Mining: Extract patterns and knowledge from large volumes of data stored in the BROKK database (tariffs, providers) to answer investigations or control needs.
- Data Science: Apply scientific methods to relational data to automate processes & controls (e.g., automatic validation of rate‑card documents, auto‑acquisition of invoices).
Responsibilities

- Set up automated controls for document storage, tariff validation, invoice acquisition and accounting based on user requirements.
- Act as specialist in one or more areas – tariff management, e‑invoicing, fee‑taxonomy reporting.
- Manage workload – prioritize and organize tasks, recognize urgency and deliver on time.
- Analyze and solve problems – proactively identify missing rate cards, mismatched fee taxonomy or invoice gaps and implement solutions.
- Communicate clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences; deliver high‑quality presentations.

Specific Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Computer Science) and/or Financial Markets.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, with hands‑on experience in Oracle environments.
- Functional knowledge of financial products and regulatory frameworks (EMIR, MiFID, CFTC, …).
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Oracle Apex.
- Ability to produce clear technical and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of Python and Elastic Search.
- Experience with machine‑learning or AI techniques is a plus.
- Autonomous, rigorous, collaborative and able to manage stress.
Experience Level: Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with proven expertise in Data Analyst role.
