We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to transform complex business data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. The role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and Tableau, and the ability to work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large and diverse datasets, identifying trends and patterns, developing analytical reports and dashboards, and communicating insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to support business decision-making.
- Write efficient and complex SQL queries to retrieve, join, aggregate, and analyse large datasets.
- Develop analytical scripts and automation solutions using Python for data processing, validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Clean, transform, and prepare datasets while identifying and resolving data-quality issues.
- Develop interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), business metrics, and analytical measures.
- Analyse trends, patterns, anomalies, and performance indicators to identify actionable insights.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate requirements into analytical solutions.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support strategic and operational initiatives.
- Build recurring reports and automate manual reporting processes wherever possible.
- Validate analytical outputs and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and dashboards.
- Maintain clear documentation of data sources, queries, calculations, dashboards, and analytical methodologies.
- Collaborate with data engineers and technology teams to improve data availability, accessibility, and quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing dashboards, reporting processes, and analytical workflows.
- Support data-driven decision-making by presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Monitor business metrics and proactively highlight significant changes, trends, and potential risks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to understand performance gaps and operational issues.
- Follow established data governance, security, and reporting standards.
- Stay updated with modern analytics techniques, data visualisation practices, and emerging analytical tools.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, and query optimisation.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, data manipulation, and analytical workflows.
- Extensive practical experience creating Tableau dashboards, reports, calculated fields, filters, parameters, and interactive visualisations.
- Strong understanding of data cleaning, transformation, validation, and exploratory data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Strong understanding of statistics, analytical methodologies, and data interpretation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and actionable business insights from data.
- Experience automating recurring reports and manual analytical processes using Python or other tools.
- Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and the ability to communicate insights effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple analytical requests, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working collaboratively with business, product, technology, and data teams.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
