About the role – Christchurch based

As a Customer Experience Technician Apprentice, you'll receive comprehensive training across a wide range of household appliances while working alongside experienced technicians. Through a combination of practical, on-the-job learning and structured development, you'll build the technical skills and confidence needed to become a qualified Appliance Service Technician.

What you'll be doing

• Learn how to diagnose, service, and repair a range of household appliances

• Receive structured on-the-job training from experienced technicians and mentors

• Assist with appliance repairs in the workshop and, as your skills develop, in customers' homes

• Develop strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience

• Complete service documentation and job records accurately

• Build your product knowledge through training sessions, technical manuals, and online learning resources

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional interactions with customers

• Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• A genuine interest in technology, mechanics, or hands-on problem-solving

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Good organisational and time management abilities

• A practical, solution-focused mindset

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A full New Zealand driver's licence (or the ability to obtain one in the near future)
