Collaboration with different teams and continuous enhancement of software components are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and responsiveness to evolving project needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Allegro ERTM, AWS RDS, EC2, Storage
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Design and develop scalable database schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
- Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.
- Implement best practices for database normalization and indexing.
- Collaborate with application developers to design efficient database solutions for business applications.
- Provide database support during application development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related application issues.
- Monitor and analyse database performance using tools like Extended Events or any Third-party tools.
- Optimize query performance, indexing strategies, and execution plans.
- Resolve deadlocks, blocking issues, and high CPU/memory utilization problems.
- Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement database security measures, including user roles, permissions, and encryption
- Design and implement data import/export solutions using tools like SSIS, BCP, or BULK INSERT.
- Support ETL processes for data warehousing and reporting.
- Ensure databases comply with data governance policies and standards.o Knowledge on configure Amazon RDS or EC2-hosted SQL Server instances based on workload needs.
- Knowledge on choose appropriate instance types, storage classes (e.g., GP3, IO1), and scaling options.
- Parameter Groups: Knowledge on managing RDS and EC2 parameter groups to tune database engine settings.
- Multi-AZ Deployments: Knowledge on Leverage multi-AZ configurations for high availability and automatic failover.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
