Sobre este puesto de Contract Recruiter en Physical Superintelligence
Overview
Physical Superintelligence is a startup with roots at Google, NVIDIA, Harvard, Meta, MIT, Oxford, Johns Hopkins, Cambridge, and the Perimeter Institute building AI systems to discover new physics at scale.
Our mission is to discover and commercialize transformative physics breakthroughs at scale with artificial superintelligence, safely, verifiably, and for broad public benefit.
The last century's golden age of physics gave us transistors, lasers, and nuclear energy. We believe artificial superintelligence will unlock the next one. We're creating the infrastructure to industrialize scientific discovery and usher in this new era.
We have one product: new physics, at scale.
Role
We’re looking for a temporary recruiter or sourcing specialist to help PSI expand the top of funnel for two of our highest-priority areas: Applied AI and Core AI.
While the initial focus of this role will be sourcing AI talent, hiring priorities may shift based on the needs of the business. You should be comfortable moving between searches, learning new candidate profiles quickly, and applying the same sourcing approach to other technical or business-critical roles as priorities evolve.
This is a temporary/contract role focused primarily on sourcing, outreach, and pipeline generation.
Responsibilities
Build the Applied AI and Core AI top of funnel.
Partner with our team to understand the profiles we need across Applied AI and Core AI, then translate those requirements into targeted sourcing strategies and candidate campaigns.
Create AI-powered sourcing campaigns.
Use tools such as Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other AI-native sourcing and research platforms to build and orchestrate targeted campaigns. Experiment with searches, candidate profiles, messaging, and sourcing channels to identify people traditional searches may miss.
Find hard-to-reach AI talent.
Go beyond obvious profiles and keyword searches. Research adjacent companies, technical communities, open-source contributors, researchers, engineers, and other talent pools that could produce strong Applied AI and Core AI candidates.
Own candidate research and outreach.
Build candidate lists, prioritize prospects, write personalized outreach, and manage follow-up campaigns. Use AI to increase speed and scale while maintaining a high bar for relevance and personalization.
Integrate sourcing workflows with Ashby.
Ensure candidates and sourcing activity flow cleanly into Ashby. Build or improve workflows between sourcing tools and Ashby where possible so candidate information, outreach activity, and pipeline status remain organized and usable by the broader recruiting team.
Track campaign performance.
Monitor which searches, talent pools, outreach strategies, and campaigns are producing qualified candidates. Use that information to continuously refine sourcing efforts and focus time on the highest-performing approaches.
Follow through on offers. Understand what a given candidate is actually weighing — comp, mission, ownership, team — and help make an honest case for what PSI offers instead of over-promising.
What We're Looking For
Experience sourcing or recruiting highly technical talent, ideally across AI, machine learning, or related engineering roles.
Strong understanding of modern AI sourcing tools and workflows.
Hands-on experience using tools such as Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI research or sourcing platforms to identify and engage candidates.
Experience creating targeted sourcing campaigns rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants.
Ability to use AI tools to research candidates, companies, talent markets, and adjacent candidate pools efficiently.
Strong sourcing judgment. You can distinguish between someone who matches keywords and someone who could actually succeed in the role.
Comfortable learning technical profiles quickly and calibrating with hiring managers.
Strong written outreach skills with an ability to personalize messaging without sacrificing speed.
Highly organized and comfortable maintaining accurate candidate data and pipeline activity in an ATS.
Nice to Have
Experience building automated or semi-automated sourcing workflows.
Experience integrating sourcing tools or recruiting workflows with Ashby.
Experience recruiting for an early-stage or rapidly growing technical startup.
How We Work
We're engineering-led — people own problems end to end and are expected to understand the work deeply, not just manage around it. We expect the same from recruiting: know the candidates, know the teams, and be genuinely involved in every step rather than treating it as a process to run at arm's length.
We're a Public Benefit Corporation and run an academic grants program. That's a real part of who we are, and part of what you'll be representing to candidates.
Location
This role is primarily remote. While we welcome candidates from any location, we have a preference for someone based in the Boston area who may be able to come onsite occasionally to build relationships with the team and leadership.
