JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY:
Provide advanced troubleshooting support to line operators and Tech I. Conduct training for line operators on proper operation of equipment and maintenance of tooling. Perform advanced/computer aided manufacturing processes for tooling.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist operations with troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime, decrease scrap, and improve quality of product.
- Perform programming and advanced machining tasks
- Assist engineering, maintenance, and operations with projects as needed.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide recommendations and own implementation for process and/or tooling improvements with guidance from Technician III and engineering.
- Proactively identify potential sources of downtime, scrap or quality issues and provide recommendations for preventative action.
- Participate in preventative maintenance activities and escalate issues to maintenance and engineering.
- Train line operators and mentor Tech I when appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Two-year technical degree with 2+ years of experience in equivalent field; OR High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in equivalent field.
- General tool and die training (i.e. machining, polishing, welding)
- Intermediate computer skills (i.e. Basic CAD, Vantage Point, spreadsheets) Advanced CAM programming skills/experience
- Strong communication and conflict management skills
- Experience and aptitude for work in a technical field
PAY RANGE:

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
