Title: Compensation & Benefits Analyst

About the Role: The Compensation & Benefits Analyst will support the administration, oversight, and maintenance of compensation and benefits programs and systems to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and total rewards strategy. This position performs a variety of functions including salary review, benefits plan analysis, ensuring compliance with FLSA and benefits-related regulatory requirements, reporting, job evaluations and analysis, salary grade maintenance, and benefits benchmarking.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide compensation ranges for new requisitions and promotions within the organization.
- Evaluate and analyze salary and benefits data as a result of promotions, job offers, and organizational changes, both internal and external.
- Support Total Rewards leadership with the annual merit, bonus, and benefits enrollment cycles.
- Perform compensation and benefits studies to include external market analysis, internal equity studies, job evaluation, FLSA classification, and benefits benchmarking.
- Analyze benefits plan utilization, costs, and trends to support recommendations for plan design changes or enhancements.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all compensation and benefits data in the organization's system of record.
- Assist in delivering training and communication programs related to new or revised compensation and benefits offerings.
- Prepare reports, presentations, organizational charts, cost analyses, and related materials for leadership review.
- Identify, conduct, and participate in appropriate compensation and benefits surveys.
- Collaborate with benefits vendors and brokers to evaluate plan performance, renewals, and market competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits (e.g., FLSA, ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA).
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in compensation, benefits administration, or total rewards or 4 years within overall HR, with Total Rewards experience as an assignment.
- Experience with market pricing fundamentals and benefits benchmarking.
- Ability to apply compensation and benefits knowledge, philosophy, best practices, and sound decision-making to current and proposed total rewards programs.
- High level of Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience with market pricing fundamentals and benefits benchmarking, preferred.
- Basic understanding of stock-based compensation, preferred.
- Basic understanding of sales commission compensation structures, preferred.
- Experience with benefits plan administration, open enrollment processes, or benefits vendor management, preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCP, CBP, PHR, or SHRM-CP) is a plus.
