Job Description:

*Full Time, 11pm-7am

• Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique. 
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages.
• Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization based on manufacturer instructions.
• Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use.

• • Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required]

Education:

• • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• • Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• • in healthcare sterile processing

Work Experience:

• • 1+ related experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• • Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) [Required] OR
• • Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) [Required]
• • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]
