Sobre este puesto de Billing Lead en Legora AB
About Us
Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.
Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.
1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $100M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI and Graceview.
We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.
Joining Legora means three things.
We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.
We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.
We grow together: as a team and with our customers.
Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.
If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on operator to own daily billing execution across Legora's global customer base. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Billing & AR.
You will ensure that orders, pricing, usage, credits, and customer-specific invoicing requirements flow through our systems accurately, on time, and with audit-ready controls. You will oversee the daily output of our outsourced billing support team, handle our most complex and judgment-heavy invoicing cases, and surface risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities upstream.
You will combine deep operational judgment with process and control execution, clear communication, and hands-on problem solving to improve billing reliability, customer experience, and financial integrity at scale.
What you’ll be doing
Own end-to-end daily billing execution across Legora's entities and currencies, spanning order intake validation, invoicing, credit memos, amendments, exceptions, and dunning support.
Serve as the operational point of contact for billing within Finance, resolving invoicing discrepancies, order data and customer-impacting issues.
Maintain operating documentation, including SOPs, checklists, playbooks, and training materials, and contribute insights to broader order-to-cash operating model improvements.
Execute complex and non-standard invoicing cases, including mid-term upsells, usage true-ups, and customer-specific billing requirements, partnering with Revenue Accounting where cases carry revenue recognition implications.
Execute and improve reconciliation, completeness, and exception-management processes across the closed-won-to-invoiced pipeline, identifying backlog and data-quality issues before they create billing, revenue, or customer impact.
Prepare billing schedules, reconciliations, and evidence of review for external audit requests, maintaining documentation consistent with our internal controls framework.
Monitor and report billing performance across accuracy, cycle time, backlog, exceptions, and outsourced-team quality, using insights to drive corrective action and continuous improvement.
What you bring
5+ years of billing, invoicing, or order-to-cash experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or another subscription business.
Demonstrated ownership of complex invoicing: multi-entity, multi-currency, amendments, co-terms, credits, and usage-based components.
Strong systems fluency; experience with Salesforce is a plus, and NetSuite, SuiteBilling or Zuora experience is a strong plus.
Exposure to ERP or billing system migrations, external audit, or IPO preparation.
Comfort operating in a fast-changing environment with imperfect data and evolving processes.
