Job Description: Barback:
The Barback is an integral member of the Food & Beverage team, supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the bar. The Barback ensures that Bartenders have everything they need to deliver exceptional service to our guests — from restocking beverages and glassware to maintaining cleanliness and assisting with bar preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain bar stock by replenishing ice, glassware, garnishes, mixers, and beverages.
Support Bartenders in preparing the bar for service and during peak operation hours.
Ensure all bar areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
Assist with bar setup and closing duties.
Occasionally help clear tables or deliver beverages as needed.
Handle supplies and stock movement efficiently and safely.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, ideally in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional appearance.
High attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 50 lbs.
Flexible schedule — able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management is an asset.
