Sobre este puesto de Atlassian Administrator en DoorDash USA
About the Team
The Enterprise Systems team is responsible for the systems and tools that power our global workforce, keeping everything running, integrated, and scalable across DoorDash, Wolt and Deliveroo. We're a distributed team embedded in the Global IT organization, working closely with partners across Engineering, Finance, People, Security, and IT Operations.
About the Role
We are looking for an Atlassian Administrator to join our Enterprise Systems team. In this role, you will own the day-to-day administration and support of our Atlassian suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence), keeping requests, access, and configurations running smoothly for teams across the business while our senior engineers focus on migrations and platform-level projects.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Administer and support Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Confluence Cloud
- Create and configure Jira projects and Jira Service Management service desks for different business teams
- Manage Jira and Confluence user access, project permissions, administrator permissions, and service-account access
- Configure request types, forms, custom fields, dropdown values, workflows, approval paths, queues, and notifications
- Troubleshoot issues involving Jira ticket submission, project configurations, missing access, permissions, and multi-user incidents
- Update access-request and approval workflows for connected business applications and ensure requests are routed to the correct approvers or DRIs
- Support Okta-related access for Atlassian, including user/group assignments, SSO and MFA troubleshooting, and provisioning or deprovisioning activities
- Test configuration changes and fixes in the Jira sandbox before implementing them in production
- Configure Jira-to-Slack notifications and support other Atlassian integrations
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, including access approvals, badging requests, routing, and notifications
- Investigate incoming support tickets, clarify business requirements, coordinate with requesters, and communicate resolutions
- Provide production support, root-cause analysis, documentation, and stakeholder guidance
We're excited about you because…
- You have 1–3 years of hands-on Atlassian administration experience, ideally in an enterprise environment
- You have working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence — including configuration, permissions, and workflow setup
- You're comfortable troubleshooting access, permissions, and ticket-routing issues under time pressure
- You have some exposure to scripting or automation (Python, YAML, or similar) and are eager to build on it
- You're familiar with enterprise tools like Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack, or are quick to pick them up
- You communicate clearly, document your work, and can manage a queue of concurrent requests
- You're comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with globally distributed teams
- You're genuinely excited about applying AI to real business workflows — not just experimenting with it, but shipping it
Nice to haves:
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Experience with follow-the-sun support models or distributed on-call coverage
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks
- Prior experience with Freshservice or other ITSM platforms
- Experience with Atlassian REST APIs or service accounts
