Sobre este puesto de 3D Character Animation Artist en micro1
Role Title: 3D Character Animation Artist
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
micro1 is engaging 3D Character Animation Artists to contribute their expertise to a specialized customer project focused on hand and finger landmark annotation using MediaPipe-style hand topology. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Annotate hand and finger landmarks/keypoints on images or video frames, following strict MediaPipe-style hand topology and project guidelines.
- Identify and accurately mark anatomical joints such as the wrist, MCP (Metacarpophalangeal), PIP (Proximal Interphalangeal), DIP (Distal Interphalangeal), and fingertips, as well as CMC and IP joints for thumbs.
- Infer and place landmarks even when fingers or joints are partially occluded by objects, other fingers, or hand orientation.
- Interpret and annotate hands presented from varied angles, rotations, poses, and perspectives with high visual-spatial accuracy.
- Maintain consistent annotation quality across large volumes of data, adhering to defined tolerance thresholds.
- Review visual feedback and revise annotations to meet stringent quality assurance standards.
- Follow all established protocols and documentation processes throughout the assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in hand and finger anatomy or biomechanics, with a strong grasp of joint structure and articulation.
- Background in 3D character animation, skeletal rigging, pose estimation, or computer vision annotation workflows.
- Exceptional attention to visual detail, accuracy, and consistency in repetitive, precision-driven tasks.
- Advanced visual-spatial reasoning and the ability to accurately interpret partially visible or occluded anatomical landmarks.
- Experience in annotating keypoints, skeletons, or performing quality control on visual datasets is highly desirable.
- Ability to rapidly learn and adhere to detailed annotation protocols and technical guidelines.
- Track record of quality assurance, data review, or annotation correction in animation, computer vision, or related fields.
