We are currently seeking a Workshop Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, including data entry, report preparation, and customer correspondence.

What You Will Do


  • Open and manage workshop work orders, including assigning purchase orders to repairs.
  • Prepare weekly reports on backorders, shipments, and invoicing.
  • Estimate job costs and prepare preliminary quotations.
  • Monitor work orders daily and coordinate weekly workshop repair schedules in collaboration with the Workshop Supervisor.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to keep them informed about current and upcoming work.
  • Track cost overruns and report them to the Workshop Supervisor.
  • Invoice suppliers on a weekly basis.
  • Communicate with the manufacturing facility to track parts and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Process warranty claims for equipment serviced in the workshop.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring


  • Postsecondary diploma in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience processing warranty claims and making decisions based on warranty policies is considered an asset.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in both French and English, verbally and in writing, is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • General knowledge of mining equipment product lines is considered an asset.
  • Basic English communication skills (written and spoken).
