Job Description Summary

The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

 

 

Job Description

Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities – Production Area Cleaner:

• Works safely and must be aware of surroundings
• Cleans  production areas and controlled environments in accordance with procedures
• Sanitizes and scrubs machines, tables, counters, trash containers.
• Mops and scrubs floors, doors, walls
• Operate Ride-on floor scrubber in warehouse and production facility aisles
• Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors
• Gathers and removes trash from all identified areas
• Completes documentation and records of cleaning
• May be responsible for the cleaning & janitorial services to support non-production/office areas
• Clean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots
• Perform pre-op swabbing as required
• Gather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap area
• Documents and verifies activities supporting Company Food Safety & Quality Assurance Programs.
• Maintains plant cleanliness (cleans compactor area)
• Carry out daily Hygiene checks throughout the warehouse
• Reports to Site Manager & Site Supervisor daily
• Interface with all employees and QA/QC
• Maintain a positive work environment for your co-workers
• Be willing to take an active role in team building within our sanitation staff
• Clean bathrooms & locker rooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc.
• Monitors possible defects such as clogged toilets and lights out, any broken items and reports to supervisors.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $14.45 - $17.00
