About this Warehouse Order Selector / Ticket Puller role at Sunsrce
The Ticket Puller / Order Selector is responsible for reading pick tickets, pulling the correct industrial products (fittings, valves, adapters, raw hose, and pipe accessories) from warehouse racking, and accurately staging them for assembly or shipping. Speed, attention to part numbers, and basic warehouse math are critical.
Shift: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull orders accurately from physical pick tickets.
- Locate parts across bin locations, bulk racks, and pipe yard storage.
- Match part numbers, quantities, and descriptions precisely to avoid mispicks (differentiating between similar thread configurations, sizing, and materials).
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (manual pallet jacks)
- Stage pulled materials for the hose fabrication tables, counter sales, or shipping/staging lanes.
- Assist with daily cycle counting, bin replenishment, and maintaining clean warehouse aisles.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years of warehouse order pulling, pick/pack, or inventory experience (industrial supply, plumbing, or distribution background strongly preferred).
- Detail-Oriented: Strong ability to match complex alphanumeric part numbers and read fine print/tags.
- Math & Measurement: Solid basic math skills; comfortable using a standard tape measure.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Reliability: Strict adherence to punctuality and shift attendance.
