• Job Title: Warehouse Assistant
• Location: Rotherham, S60 1LH 
• Pay: Competitive Salary
• Shifts: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll help manage materials for cash machine installations, including receiving deliveries and supplying stock to in-house and 3rd party installation and electrical teams.

You’ll report to the Warehouse Supervisor and hold a forklift licence and Health & Safety certification or be willing to complete the required training.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform tasks involving light to medium lifting; occasional ladder use (up to 3 metres).
• Receive, book-in and distribute deliveries for ATM installations.
• Pick, pack and prepare materials for in-house and 3rd party installation and electrical teams.
• Support stock control activities, including stock takes and cycle counts. 
• Handle parts returns and shipments - supporting Repair Centre logistics. 
• Load and unload deliveries and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment and support routine audits.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Knowledge of H&S best practices; CSCS card (or equivalent), or willingness to undertake training.
• Experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment preferred 
• Forklift (Reach and/or Counterbalance) and Hydraulic Pallet Truck experience desirable, or willingness to gain certification.
• Good Microsoft Office skills; Oracle ERP experience advantageous.
• Strong communication, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
