Position Summary
* This role requires relocation to the United States following an initial transition period in Israel.
The VP Monetization serves as the studio’s senior monetization advisor and subject matter expert, partnering closely with game leadership teams to maximize business performance and player value. This role provides strategic guidance, data-driven insights, industry expertise, and monetization best practices to help solve complex business challenges and identify growth opportunities across the portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
The VP Monetization serves as the studio’s senior monetization advisor and subject matter expert, partnering closely with game leadership teams to maximize business performance and player value. This role provides strategic guidance, data-driven insights, industry expertise, and monetization best practices to help solve complex business challenges and identify growth opportunities across the portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the studio’s subject matter expert on monetization, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership across multiple games and products.
- Partner with game leadership teams to identify monetization opportunities, diagnose complex business challenges, and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Support product, economy, and LiveOps teams in evaluating monetization strategies, pricing approaches, player segmentation, and offer design.
- Leverage analytics, experimentation results, player behavior insights, and market trends to provide actionable recommendations that improve business performance.
- Identify cross-portfolio monetization best practices and drive knowledge sharing across game teams.
- Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends to uncover new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Influence decision-making through expertise, insights, and strong stakeholder partnerships while empowering game teams to own and execute their strategies.
- Develop frameworks, methodologies, and tools that help teams make more effective monetization decisions.
- Mentor and support product, economy, and monetization professionals across the organization.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in Monetization, Product, Economy, Growth, or related leadership roles within gaming or a data-driven consumer business.
- Deep understanding of free-to-play monetization, game economies, LiveOps, and experimentation.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a proven track record of driving business growth.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
