Job Summary

•This role will be responsible for defining technology standards, designing Video Conferencing room packages to meet business requirements and providing expert operations support for all corporate Video Conferencing systems.

•AEP operates in 11 states and currently has 500+ video conference rooms that are owned and managed by the Collaboration Services team.

•As part of the Collaboration Services team, this role will be responsible for design, delivery, operations and life cycle of VC endpoints and related technologies. This role frequently works with our third-party installation teams and hardware vendors on the delivery of new rooms, technical decisions and root cause analysis.

Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise grade video conferencing solutions for MS Teams and Zoom.
  • Experience developing standards for large organizations with varying room sizes, combine & divide capabilities, advance control systems and leading-edge technologies.
  • Detailed, hands-on experience implementing and supporting Cisco, Poly, Neat, QSC and other network-based video conferencing solutions.
  • Experience analyzing failures using Teams Administration Portal, Poly Lens, Cisco Control Hub and ThousandEyes.
  • Experience with Cisco endpoints and ThousandEyes highly desired.
  • Experience & understanding of networking concepts highly desired.
  • In addition to technical knowledge, this role will interact with end users up to and including the C-Suite. 
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Relevant industry or technology certifications such as QSC, MS Teams, etc.

What we’re looking for:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. 

Experience:

  • 10 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation Range:

$116,255.00 - $151,132.50
