Job Description Summary
Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as outlined in policies and procedures of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, including but not limited to Duplex imaging and/or echocardiography. May be cross-trained into other areas in the department. Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care to these patients through assessment, observation and documentation. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within. Work is primarily independent.Entity

Additional Job Description
Education:
- Graduate of state accredited school of radiology technology with current or pending registration or a graduate of state approved school of professional nursing, or a graduate of accredited echo/vascular school or licensed practical nursing with current or pending registration, or previous on the job training with documented experience.
Experience:
- Previous experience in cardiovascular diagnostic testing.
Licenses/Certificates:
- RVS/RDCS/RVT/ARDMS or equivalent preferred or eligible to test. Must have obtain approved certification within one year of hire
- Current BLS
