JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examine used vehicles and identify necessary repairs and maintenance.

• Perform multi-point inspections and safety evaluations on used vehicle inventory.

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems efficiently to dealership and manufacturer standards.

• Estimate cost of repairs and document all services performed accurately.

• Request necessary parts and follow dealership service guidelines.

• Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair status and recommendations.

• Maintain CSI scores at or above company standards.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

• Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.

• Participate in required training and follow all safety protocols.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a dealership or high-volume shop.

• Certified/senior technician designation with respective manufacturer preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems across multiple makes and models.

• Completed manufacturer training for warranty repairs, recalls, PDIs, and maintenance.

• Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests.

• State inspection/emissions license as required by state.

• Valid Driver's License required.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Ability to work scheduled shifts including rotating Saturdays.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is based primarily in the service area and involves movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Regular interaction with customers, service advisors, and the service manager. Scheduled shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
