What we’re looking for…

We are seeking a UK Logistics Coordinator to join our well-established logistics team.  This person will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will be logical, detail-oriented, organised, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. 

Reporting to the UK Supply Chain Operations Lead this role is essential for ensuring we have the UK stock in the right position to meet customer demand as efficiently as possible, whilst maintaining accurate records that support continuous improvement of our distribution process.  This is a great opportunity for someone to develop their skills in a busy FMCG environment.  This person should have a proactive attitude and will be excited to make the most of this opportunity.  

The role is based in Leyton, London (UK) and working from the office full time.

Your day-to-day responsibilities…

• Coordinate collection of inbound stock deliveries and ensure products arrive in the right place at the right time. 
• Work closely with third party logistics partners and third-party warehouses to manage movement of stock within the UK. 
• Maintain accurate logistics records of stock movement information and operational reporting, working in both excel and the company’s ERP system.
• Monitor service performance and investigate delivery issues. 
• Support inventory management & import teams by flagging stock availability issues.
• Ensure logistics processes are followed and opportunities for improvement are identified. 
• Actively contribute to the efficient operation of the wider Supply Chain team.

Requirements

Your skills, attributes, and experience…

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in a logistics environment
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
