Job Specification: UI Engineer - Mocks and Wireframes Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled UI Engineer with expertise in creating mockups, wireframes, and interfaces for data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating design concepts into visually appealing and functional user interfaces. This role requires a strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles, proficiency in designing mockups and wireframes, and the ability to interface with APIs for seamless data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Mockup and Wireframe Design:

• Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive wireframes that align with the project requirements and design guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business objectives.

Interface Design:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, user-friendly features and products using TypeScript, React and TailwindCSS.

• Create intuitive, scalable, and high-performance user experiences through interactive UI components and effective application state management.

• Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across various devices and screen sizes.

Data Integration:

• Interface with APIs to integrate data seamlessly into the user interface.

• Collaborate with backend developers to understand data structures and optimize data presentation within the UI.

Prototyping:

• Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate the flow and functionality of the proposed user interfaces.

• Gather feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs to achieve optimal results.

Usability Testing:

• Conduct usability testing on prototypes and finalized interfaces, incorporating user feedback into design improvements.

• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in UI/UX design.

Documentation:

• Document design decisions, guidelines, and specifications to ensure consistency and clarity for development teams.

• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, React, TailwindCSS and extensive experience building complex web applications with React.js.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.

• Experience working with APIs and integrating data into user interfaces.

• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively across teams.
