Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Provide Tier I/II technical support in a U.S. Air Force enterprise environment, ensuring reliable operation of mission systems and end-user devices. Support NIPRNet and base-level IT infrastructure while maintaining strict adherence to Air Force and DoD cybersecurity, asset accountability, and configuration management requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide on-site for desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, eTools and mobile devices across Air Force networks (NIPRNet).
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems and approved applications.
- Image and deploy systems using tools such as MECM/SCCM.
- Maintain lifecycle accountability of IT assets in compliance with Air Force procedures.
- Track assets using systems such as AFEMS or ITAMS.
- Perform receipt, tagging, issuance, transfer, and disposal of equipment.
- Conduct inventory audits and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Coordinate repairs, warranties, and refresh cycles.
- Ensure proper data sanitization per NIST 800-88 standards.
- Use remedy to document and track maintenance actions.
Basic Qualifications
- Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- CompTIA A+ CE or higher
- Windows enterprise support experience
- Knowledge of asset management processes
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience providing desktop support in USAF environment
- Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- Windows enterprise support experience
