We’re looking for a Truck Driver/Pilot (Heavy Haulage) to join our team and help move the big gear that keeps our projects and customers moving across Otago, Southland and beyond. You’ll operate heavy transporters, load and unload machinery, and deliver equipment safely, on time and to a high standard.

This is good, solid work with a team that backs each other, keeps things straightforward, and knows when to switch on.. If you’re the sort of person who takes pride in your truck, values safety, and just gets in and gets the job done, you’ll fit right in.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

• Transport light to heavy construction, quarrying and forestry equipment safely across Otago, Southland and beyond.
• Load, cart and deliver machinery in quarry, forestry and active construction environments.
• Follow job briefs, run sheets and site instructions to complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain logbooks and keep your truck tidy, roadworthy and well cared for.
• Build strong working relationships with dispatchers, site crews and plant teams, while helping with yard duties or other tasks when needed.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

• A current Class 5 driver licence.
• W, T, R And F endorsements, plus a Certified Class 2 Pilot qualification.
• At least 5 years’ practical heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Extra capability, such as BESS or Workplace First Aid, would be valued.
• A strong safety focus, reliable approach and willingness to travel, work varied hours and stay away overnight when required.
• A team-focused attitude, pride in your work and the ability to carry out the inherent requirements of a hands-on role.
