About this Transportation Supervisor - Last Mile role at Lineage Logistics
We are seeking a Transportation Supervisor for our Terrell, TX facility. This position will support a 24/7 operation and oversee approximately 80+ drivers.
The schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–7:30 AM, with flexibility to be on-call as needed to support transportation operations.
The ideal candidate will be a dependable, trusted leader with a strong transportation background and experience with DOT regulations, compliance, and driver management. Food service distribution experience is preferred. This individual must be comfortable building strong relationships with drivers, having direct and effective conversations, and holding teams accountable to safety, compliance, and operational standards.
The role will also include occasional travel to 2–3 domicile locations annually to support operations, strengthen relationships, and maintain consistency across the network.
Strong leadership, communication, accountability, and the ability to build trust within a fast-paced transportation environment will be critical to success.

What You’ll Do
As a Transportation Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to leader supporting our drivers, ensuring compliance, and optimizing operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and monitoring ELD performance and resolving issues with the ELD Coordinator.
Ensuring DOT compliance and accurate driver logs.
Supporting drivers with on-the-road and off-the-road needs.
Reviewing backhaul assignments and adjusting routes for efficiency.
Coordinating driver schedules, time-off requests, and documentation.
Partnering with Logistics to design cost-effective, safe routes.
Monitoring driver performance, providing coaching, and recognizing achievements.
Leading and supporting Dispatchers, addressing team issues, and maintaining alignment with company policies.
Contributing to special projects and process improvements as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
High School diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in transportation, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and routing/scheduling software.
Knowledge of driver safety standards and DOT compliance.
Preferred:
Associate or bachelor’s degree.
Experience in food industry transportation or warehousing.
CDL-A License.
