We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technology Application Trainer to join our team and lead the delivery of world-class training for Caterpillar’s MineStar suite of technologies in this 7/7-rostered position.
In this role, you'll design and deliver both classroom and hands-on training to internal technicians and mine site personnel stakeholder and external customers, enabling them to optimise safety, efficiency, and productivity using Caterpillar’s advanced mining technology solutions.

In this role, you will be:
Deliver comprehensive training on Caterpillar MineStar technologies.
Conduct on-site training sessions for maintenance teams, and other mine site personnel.
Deliver training programs to align with customer operations and site-specific conditions.
Support the development of training materials, including manuals, presentations, and guides.
Collaborate closely with customers, site supervisors, OEM partners, and internal technology teams to support continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with the latest Caterpillar Technology solutions including – new products, software updates, hardware integrations, and best practices.

About you:
Hands-on experience with Caterpillar MineStar technologies (essential).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
Background in mining operations, technology implementation, or equipment training.
Strong understanding of mine site operations and safety protocols.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt training to diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
Willingness to travel to remote mine sites both domestically and internationally.
