Team Event is a full-service event production company behind some of Australasia's most loved festivals and consumer events, including Electric Avenue, The Great Kiwi Beer Festival and Nostalgia, plus huge one-off concerts in Hagley Park. You'll be the go-to person for ticketing and customer support, working closely with ticketing providers and the wider marketing and events team.

  • Provider liaison: Work with ticketing providers to implement changes and troubleshoot issues quickly.
  • Sales reporting: Monitor ticket sales and share regular updates with the marketing and events team.
  • Customer enquiries: Respond to email and social media enquiries on purchases, refunds, transfers, ticket access and general event information.
  • Community monitoring: Keep an eye on event social channels and sentiment, escalating complex or sensitive issues where needed.

  • Written communication: A friendly, professional tone across email and social media.
  • Attention to detail: Accuracy when managing allocations, pricing and records, and confidence reporting on sales data.
  • Sound judgement: Calm under pressure, with the instinct to know when to escalate a complex or sensitive issue.
  • Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, particularly around on sales and event periods.
  • Team player: An approachable, positive and reliable collaborator who's comfortable working across departments.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work event days, including weekends and extended hours as required.
