Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech?  Vishay Migdal HaEmek is currently seeking applicants for a Laboratory Test Technician. Responsible for performing reliability tests for Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with customer standards.

Job Location:

Migdal Ha'Emek is in northern Israel.

The factory in Migdal Ha'emek was established in 1996 and currently employs approximately 300 people.

What you will be doing:

• To perform appropriate component tests according to Vishay specifications on ceramic capacitors.
• To operate sophisticated testing and measurement equipment.
• Work using network PC computers to enter test and product detail data.
• To read and record detailed test performance data onto the computer.
• Review reports for data completion and accuracy.
• Use specially built test monitoring software.
• Prepare failure notice reports.
• Create workload and test plan schedules.
• Set workload priorities and complete testing.

What will you bring along:

• Technical experience and knowledge in materials or mechanical engineering or laboratory tests – an advantage.
• Electrical component manufacturing or production experience.
• Basic hand tools such as soldering iron, pliers, side cutters, thermometers, magnifiers, microscopes, hot plates, etc.
