Project Role Description : Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Summary:
Help in the Implementation, Design and Management of APIs, Web Services, Data systems, Streaming
platforms and Cloud Native services running in Cloud Infrastructures based on GCP
Help to develop and improve SDLC of each Squad following Agile methodologies and common
practices for software delivery and adding SRE approach to development and operations.
Automation and Management of CI/CD Pipelines and other Devops tools. Provide visibility and observability tools to monitor Cloud Infrastructure and Applications (logging,
dashboards, alerts, metrics). Administration of Cloud Infrastructures with the objective of keeping Production, Dev /Testing and UAT operative and with minimum interruptions. Define SLAs/SLOs to meet service and customer requirements acceptable. Be proactive in mitigating, avoiding and troubleshooting production issues. Participate in DevOps strategic improvements together with external teams and product squad
members. Be willing to work occasionally on-call duties in programmed interventions and sporadic emergencies.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of continuous testing processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide team members to develop their skills and improve overall team performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align testing strategies with project goals.
- Drive innovation in testing methodologies to support evolving business needs. Understanding of Source Control systems as a single source of truth and believe in the
GitOps method as a necessary part of the delivery workflow.
Experience administering Databases and Streaming services in any similar solutions to:
MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Message Queues etc.
Working knowledge of IaC, Configuration Management, CI Systems and other Devops
toolsets like Terraform, Helm, Git, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, etc...
Proficiency with sh, bash, zsh, fish or any other scripting language and love to debate
which one is the coolest.
Values security as an integral part of the products lifecycle and advocates for
DevSecOps practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 5+ Years of experience in any relevant Cloud, Systems, Development and Operations related positions
Experience managing Systems and Services in major Cloud Service Providers, as GCP/AWS /Azure -
preferred Google Cloud Platform
Good knowledge of Networking and Distributed Systems
Experience with Linux systems administration, Windows Servers knowledge being a plus.
Good understanding of RDBMS and/or NoSQL database systems. Familiarity with concepts of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Delivery Pipelines
Experience in App Containerisation and Container Orchestration tools like Docker, Docker Swarm or
Kubernetes ( preferred ).
Experience implementing and usage of monitoring tools ( Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus , ELK or
similar ).
Planning and managing of common tasks and have experience with Jira or similar management tools.
Experience in configuration of Web Servers (and proxies) like nginx, apache.
Development skills in any of the following languages: Go, Python, NodeJS, PHP or Scala is a plus.
Design and implementation Security and Compliance Policies and Standards, Disaster Recovery Plans,
Data and Information Backup and Recovery Guidelines
Creation and maintenance of both internal processes and technical documentation of the products in use
. And keeping it up-to-date.
Having a keen interest in Cloud Native technologies and new developments in the industry ( think new
Service Mesh implementations, Container Technologies, Security practices and other Cloud Native
intrinsics)
Education level / certificates N/A
Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Axway Specialized Tools.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
