Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your typical day will involve utilizing quality processes, tools, and methodologies to significantly enhance control, accuracy, and integrity in testing. You will also focus on evolving predictive and intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions to improve overall quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end testing (automation + manual) of API and microservices across banking workflows.
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using C# and associated tools.
Enhance and update existing automation frameworks to support new functionalities and improve efficiency.
Conduct white-box testing, including code-level validations, logic flow checks, and test coverage analysis.
Validate integration points with third-party systems, upstream/downstream services, and front-end applications.
Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on functional and technical requirements.
Perform defect analysis, debugging, and root-cause identification in collaboration with developers and architects.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to testing standards, quality processes, and compliance required in the banking domain.
Provide support during SIT, UAT, production validation, and release cycles.

Required Skills & Experience
4-6 years of overall testing experience in a service-based or IT consulting environment.
Strong hands-on experience in API Testing , Microservice Testing, and integration testing.
Proficient in C# for automation scripting and framework enhancement.
Experience in using tools such as Postman, Swagger, NUnit/xUnit, or similar.
Solid understanding of banking domain processes, data flows, and compliance considerations.
Good exposure to white-box testing concepts (code review basics, debugging, log analysis, unit test awareness).
Experience interacting with third-party systems, interface teams, and front-end application modules.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of BDD frameworks (SpecFlow/Cucumber).
Exposure to cloud-based architectures

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
