The Opportunity

We're looking for a Territory Manager to join our growing Sage team in Sydney.

This is a newly created role driven by the continued growth of our business and an exciting opportunity to make your mark. Working across hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Sydney and New South Wales, you'll help customers improve patient outcomes through our Infection Prevention and Pressure Injury Prevention solutions.

We're looking for someone with a hunter mindset who enjoys creating opportunities, winning new business, and building strong customer relationships. You'll work with a wide range of healthcare stakeholders, from frontline clinicians through to executive decision-makers, becoming a trusted partner and driving growth across your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of healthcare stakeholders, including wound care clinicians, infection prevention teams, nurse educators, nursing leaders, allied health professionals, procurement teams, and other key decision-makers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, challenges, and priorities to identify opportunities that support both improved patient outcomes and business growth.
  • Become a trusted partner to customers by providing product knowledge, clinical support, education, and ongoing guidance.
  • Identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships and expanding product adoption across the territory.
  • Work closely with customers to support product evaluations, implementations, and successful contract outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Clinical Consultants, and Customer Service, to deliver a positive and seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain regular engagement with customers through site visits, educational sessions, presentations, meetings, and industry events.
  • Build strong networks across healthcare organisations and develop meaningful relationships with both clinical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and support business growth.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements
  • Proven success in sales with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets (3+ years).
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to identify opportunities and grow a territory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and engage a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, growth-oriented approach.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout New South Wales.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumables, or other complex B2B sales environments.
  • Experience selling into hospitals, healthcare settings, aged care, or other multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating complex healthcare sales processes.
