• Realizar la instalación, mantenimiento y reparación de equipos de manufactura en línea o de equipos de la planta.
• Localizar y diagnosticar fallas, reemplazar componentes defectuosos y realizar solución de problemas básica (troubleshooting) utilizando equipos electrónicos estándar, dibujos detallados, diagramas, bocetos, especificaciones, planos, manuales e instrucciones verbales y/o escritas.
• Mantener los registros correspondientes de mantenimiento y reparación.
• Utilizar una variedad de herramientas manuales, eléctricas y de prueba, así como diversos equipos.
• Rediseñar, cuando sea necesario, sistemas ópticos, de vacío, eléctricos, electrónicos o mecánicos para su incorporación a equipos de manufactura existentes.
• Estimar los costos de mano de obra y equipo y preparar las requisiciones correspondientes cuando sea necesario.
• Conocimiento de control electrico

TECHNICIAN SUPPORT CAREER STREAM: Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations. For higher levels, may suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.

Performs tests, interprets data and develops reports.

Organizational Impact: Performs intermediate technical activities requiring judgment and decision-making.
Work consists of technical tasks that are typically routine.

May be required to highlight areas of concerns/problems in own job area.

Obtains and provides technical information requiring some explanation or interpretation.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires working knowledge of systems, techniques, tools and procedures typically obtained through prior related work experience, training, and/or education.
Requires a 1+ years of relevant technical experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification.
No minimum education requirement.
Some countries/ jobs may require vocational training and/or certification.
