Project Role : Technology Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes managing change requests and continuously updating documentation to enhance troubleshooting processes. Collaboration with external vendors and internal service management teams is a key part of the daily routine, ensuring timely analysis and resolution of technical issues to support business continuity and operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Preferably have a working experience of 4 Years plus , on production PostgreSQL
Experience of working in a production support environment. Monitoring database performance Optimizing Queries and handle escalations
Analyse and assess the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on high profile production databases
Implement security features, DR implementation and switch over.
Must have Skills : Install & Configure PostgreSQL
Technical capabilities PostgreSQL 9.x, 10.x, 11.x
Server tuning, Troubleshooting of Database issues
Linux Shell Scripting
Install, Configure and maintain Fail Over mechanism
Backup - Restoration, Point in time database recovery
Good to Have Skills : Experience with other relational databases: Oralce, Aurora, MSSQL.
Experience with Containers, Docker, and Docker Swarm.
Prior experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
Exposure and experience with ETL and data warehousing. ITIL Certified Good communication skills
