Job Description
The Technician, Engineering is responsible for the general maintenance and/or minor repairs of equipment, facilities in the Serviced Residence, and to perform repairs etc, as required. Close co-operation with various departments including Housekeeping and Guest Service ensures the smooth stay of our guests at all times. The job responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the physical conditions of the building and ensure that the building has adequate heating, lightings and ventilation etc and that they are in good working condition
- General maintenance and repair works such as, painting, patching walls, plumbing facilities, aircon servicing, and electrical switches and other fixtures and equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Perform routine preventive maintenance program
- Check and inspect the building's machinery and equipment
- Respond and prioritise maintenance requisitions (MWO) and guests' requests to ensure our guests receive quality service and furnishings
Job Requirements
- At least a Professional Certificate/NITEC in Electrical / Mechanical / Aircon Maintenance or an equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of related working experience in the hospitality industry
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work well in teams and independently
- Responsible and self-motivated
- Ability to perform rotating shift duties
