Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Trainee - SW to join our team at Valeo Autoklimatizace K.S. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in software development within the automotive industry. The trainee will contribute to various stages of the software development lifecycle, focusing on embedded systems for automotive climate control solutions.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the design, development, and testing of software components for automotive climate control systems.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high software quality standards.
* Support the integration and validation of software modules within overall system architecture.
* Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
* Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams (hardware, testing) to ensure seamless project execution.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications and test plans.
* Learn and apply company-specific software development processes and tools.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in embedded software development.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
* Familiarity with at least one programming language, preferably C or C++.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
* Prior internship or project experience in software development is a plus.
