We are looking for a Technical Property Manager to take overall responsibility for the technical condition, maintenance and long-term development of our Marine & Ports facilities in Finland. In this role, you will ensure that our facilities are safe, reliable, energy-efficient and fit for purpose, while acting as the key technical expert for management and employees. Our facilities include manufacturing, warehouse and office space in 3 buildings in Helsinki, Hamina and Raisio, totalling over 30000 m2. The position is based in Vuosaari, Helsinki, and requires working from the office almost daily.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact on the safety, reliability, sustainability and long-term development of our Marine working environment in Finland.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Manage the maintenance and technical lifecycle of the facilities and building systems.
• Plan and supervise maintenance, repairs, renovations and technical investments, including budgets, schedules, quality and costs.
• Ensure reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, building automation, fire safety, access control, security and other technical systems.
• Develop and maintain long-term maintenance and investment plans (PTS).
• Manage facility service providers, contractors and related technical service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory inspections, authority requirements, safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Drive energy-efficiency and sustainability improvements, including activities related to ISO 50001.
• Coordinate contractors, work permits, site inductions and acceptance of completed works.
• Acting as project manager for smaller upcoming business needs
• Act as the technical point of contact for management, employees, landlords, authorities and external partners.
  

Qualifications for the Role

• Relevant education and several years of experience in property management, building services, construction engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, technical maintenance and facility lifecycle management.
• Experience in contractor management, procurement, budgeting and project supervision.
• Understanding of energy efficiency and relevant standards, such as ISO 50001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.
• Strong safety mindset and good collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to the Hamina and Raisio sites, approximately 20-30 days per year.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of both day-to-day operations and long-term facility development.
• Fluency in Finnish and professional working proficiency in English
