Technical Program Manager V
itD is seeking a Technical Program Manager V to lead the definition, implementation, and delivery of complex, cross-functional Finance systems programs for a leading technology company. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Finance systems initiatives, ERPs, and large-scale program delivery, and a track record of delivering multi-project programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
Location: Onsite - Menlo Park, CA
Contact: 6 months
Pay Rate: $90 - $95 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional programs from definition through delivery within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget.
- Develop program-level strategic plans, and engage executive leadership to resolve complex issues.
- Manage a matrixed group of employees and contractors delivering systems and system enhancements.
- Oversee scope definition, requirements gathering and documentation, time estimating, schedule development and tracking, and budget management.
- Own status reporting, issue and risk management, and contingency planning across multiple projects.
- Coordinate customer interaction and communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications, products, and business functions.
Internal Responsibilities
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 10+ years of experience in cross-functional Finance systems initiatives
- Deep understanding of ERPs and data structures
- Experience with project estimating, scheduling and tracking, customer management, and implementation planning in large organizations
- Proven people management and team-building skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and sound judgment in a changing environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications, products, and business functions
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
