YOUR MISSION

The analytical engine that powers commercial decision-making across Global eCommerce.

  • Lead the Business Insights function and serve as the central insight engine for Global eCommerce, transforming data into actionable business recommendations across key commercial levers.

  • Synthesize insights across merchandising, pricing, promotions, demand, marketing, CRM, content, customer behavior,supply chainand purchase performance to create a holistic view of business opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.

  • Lead and develop a team of Business Insights Managers responsible for deep-dive analytics, root-cause analysis, opportunity sizing, and recommendation development.

  • Establish scalable analytical frameworks, decision-driver trees, playbooks, and workflows that enable consistent problem-solving and performance improvement across markets.

  • Drive data-driven decision-making by ensuring insights are commercially relevant, actionable, and aligned to strategic priorities, with success measured through insight quality, recommendation adoption, and business value creation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a performance diagnosis & review rhythm focused on material changes, drivers, decisions and actions.

  • Lead root-cause investigations across core eCommerce& customer KPIs by driver tree decomposition across customer funnel metrics

  • Use driver trees, segmentation, scenario modeling and opportunity sizing to drive impactful decisions across key levers –buying, pricing, demand shaping, content, performance marketing & CRM

  • Apply driver trees, segmentation, cohort, funnel and variance analysis to explain performance changes.

  • Form and test hypotheses, distinguish signal from noise and quantify the size of opportunities.

  • Combine multiple data sources and business context into a coherent commercial view

  • Synthesize insights generated across merchandising, pricing, promotions, demand, marketing, CRM, content, and customer analytics to develop cohesive, cross-functional recommendations that maximize commercial impact and business performance.

  • Connect functional deep dives into a unified business narrative, prioritizing the highest-value opportunities and translating them into scalable action plans, playbooks, and market interventions.

  • Steward reporting standards, analytical methodologies, data consumption frameworks and capability effectiveness. Ensure solutions remain commercially relevant, scalable, trusted and globally consistent. Build scalable playbooks which can be leveraged and replicated

  • Lead, coach and develop Data Analysts and Data Storytelling specialists. Establish high standards for requirement definition, analytical rigor, business translation and executive communication.

  • Act as the primary analytics capability partner across Product, Technology, Data Engineering, BI, AI/ML and global COE teams. Drive clarity on priorities, scope, dependencies and expected outcomes.

  • Lead the translation of complex data and analytical insights into compelling, executive-ready narratives that influence decision-making and drive business outcomes across Global eCommerce.

YOUR TALENT

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 9–12 years in analytics, business intelligence, strategy ,sales or in multi-disciplinary experiences related to Ecom levers –pricing/ demand/ content/ CRM etc

  • Experience in ecommerce or growth-stage digital business mandatory with experience in insight generation from data

  • Needs understanding of how each lever across merchandising, pricing, demand, marketing, CRM, content work together to drive commercial impact

  • Experience working with complex datasets and translating findings into business recommendations..

  • Experience in eCom platforms -consumer or digital-first brand businesses preferred; global matrix experience is advantageous.
