About this Talent Acquisition Partner (Temporary) role at unybrands

unybrands · Onsite · London

Founded in 2020, unybrands is the next-generation brand accelerator platform built to acquire, integrate, and scale digital-first consumer brands. Headquartered in Miami, with offices in New York, London, Berlin, and Shenzhen, our 240+ team brings deep expertise across e-commerce, brand management, consumer retail, operational scaling, and M&A.

Since inception, we have acquired 30+ brands across Pet Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Supplements, Baby & Juvenile, Garden & Outdoor, Sports & Fitness, and Home & Lifestyle — completing 20+ acquisitions and delivering 16 consecutive quarters of like-for-like organic growth post-integration.

Our competitive advantage lies in a fully integrated operating system purpose-built to transform digital brands into omni-channel category leaders. Powered by a proprietary technology stack built on NetSuite ERP with 200+ data integrations, our platform enables brands to thrive across marketplaces, direct-to-consumer channels, and brick-and-mortar retail.

We focus on acquiring digital-first brands within carefully selected verticals, then applying tailored value creation playbooks that drive growth through innovation, expansion, and automation. We believe the next generation of consumer brands will be built differently — and we're building the AI-enabled retail tech platform to help them consolidate and win.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team on a temporary basis (3 month contract with the possibility of extension) and hit the ground running. With around 30 live vacancies across our brand portfolio and functions, you will add immediate capacity to our in-house Talent Acquisition team and help us fill business-critical roles quickly.

You will own a portfolio of live roles from day one, working within a new hiring model where hiring managers screen applications and shortlist candidates, while Talent Acquisition leads interviewing, direct sourcing and the overall candidate experience. You will be the main point of contact for your candidates and drive the recruitment process end to end.

Responsibilities include - but not limited to:

  •   Take ownership of a portfolio of live vacancies from day one, managing the full recruitment cycle from intake to offer.
  •   Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities, and agree clear timelines.
  •   Lead direct sourcing of passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals and your own networks, building a strong pipeline alongside inbound applicants.
  •   Conduct structured first-stage interviews with candidates shortlisted by hiring managers, providing clear summaries and recommendations.
  •   Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a timely, professional and consistent experience that represents the unybrands brand.
  •   Support hiring managers in the screening process, using agreed scorecards to keep shortlisting consistent and fair.
  •   Coordinate interview scheduling, collect feedback and keep processes moving within agreed SLAs.
  •   Manage offers in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, including salary benchmarking and negotiation.
  •   Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring activity in our ATS, ensuring compliance with GDPR and right-to-work requirements.
  •   Track and report on pipeline progress, time to fill and hiring outcomes for your roles.
  •   Help reduce reliance on external agencies by building talent pipelines that stay in-house.

A successful team member will have:

  •   3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, either in-house or agency, with a strong track record of full-cycle recruitment.
  •   Proven ability to hit the ground running and manage a high volume of roles at the same time.
  •   Strong direct sourcing skills, including confident use of LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  •   Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, and advising on hiring decisions.
  •   Experience recruiting for e-commerce, consumer goods, Amazon marketplace, supply chain or commercial roles is highly desirable.
  •   Experience hiring across the UK, EU and/or US is a plus.
  •   Hands-on experience with an ATS and a good understanding of UK employment requirements, including right to work and GDPR.
  •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a candidate-first approach.
  •   Ability to work independently, prioritize workflow and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  •   Availability to start at short notice.
