As Systems Architect you will be responsible for;

 

  • Own the end-to-end system architecture for robotic manipulation platforms and related subsystems.
  • Define system requirements, functional allocations, interface definitions, and architectural roadmaps.
  • Lead requirements decomposition across hardware, controls, software, perception, and safety domains.
  • Establish Interface Control Documents (ICDs), ConOps, system specifications, and architecture artifacts.
  • Conduct technical trade studies and evaluate architecture alternatives to optimize performance, cost, reliability, and scalability.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering disciplines and serve as the primary technical decision-maker for system-level design.
  • Lead system integration planning, verification, validation, and acceptance strategies.
  • Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation plans throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Establish engineering standards, systems engineering processes, and governance practices.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership during design reviews and architecture reviews.

Qualifications;

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience developing complex electromechanical, robotic, aerospace, automotive, or autonomous systems.
  • Demonstrated experience defining system architectures and leading cross-functional development efforts.
  • Strong background in systems engineering processes, requirements management, verification, and validation.
  • Experience developing and maintaining:
    • System Requirements Documents (SRDs)
    • ICDs
    • Trade Studies
    • ConOps
    • Verification & Validation Plans
  • Experience balancing systems engineering rigor with agile product development environments.
  • Ability to drive technical decisions with minimal oversight.

 

 

Salary Range: $130K-$180K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
