SUMMARY:

The primary function of all Motion IT Support roles is to provide the field with what they need to move units while safeguarding the security and integrity of Motion’s IT infrastructure and environment. IT Support runs point for the enterprise and is charged with triaging, troubleshooting, documenting, communicating, escalating, advocating for, and resolving a wide range of IT issues including, but not limited to, commercial, cloud based and proprietary software and platforms, server, configuration, protocol, platform, PC, AV, Active Directory, connectivity, security, network, integration, identity access management, onboarding, acquisitions, hardware, automation and emerging tech in a quality driven and deadline sensitive environment. This role is 100% on site and will work in our Atlanta office space, located just off I-75 in the Marietta area of Atlanta. You will be a part of and work directly with a team of 20+ north American based IT Support personnel, and an extended internal Motion IT team of 300+. In addition to standard IT Support calls and tickets, this role will be responsible for concierge level service, onboarding, and technical assistance to C-suite executives, board members, and employees on site at our Atlanta location. The ideal candidate will be polished and possess not only high technical acumen, but also excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of both Windows and MAC operating systems will be required to perform job duties. Experience operating in an enterprise space is a plus. Proven track record of delivering a high level of high touch service is nonnegotiable.

• Research, documentation, and advanced troubleshooting

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience / certifications
• (3) Years of experience or equivalent education / certifications
• IT Certifications ranging from A+, Network+, MS900, Security+ and software specific a plus
• 5+ years of relevant IT support experience, preferably across multiple disciplines. Candidate should have working knowledge of MACOS, Windows and related O365 platform software, an understanding of standard network architecture and security, experience performing direct and remote triage and with troubleshooting a wide variety of IT issues ranging from acute, single user impact to multi-layer enterprise network operations

SPECIALIZED SKILLS

• Proven ability to operate as a primary contact for a wide range of IT support issues.
• Proven track record of delivering a high level of high touch service.
• Ability to adapt to new challenges, identify and evaluate potential impact and prioritize accordingly.
• Ability to digest, understand, communicate, and apply new technical information and concepts quickly.
• Ability to communicate clearly across multiple mediums with professionals possessing a wide range of technical acumen for the purpose of organizing efforts to resolve issues.
• Experience with data analytics, Cisco WebEx, Power Bi, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Dynamics365 and other Microsoft Office365 tools and platforms, Fortinet network gear and operations, VOIP, ServiceNow, Asset Management, Active Directory, SCCM, iOS, Android and Intune MAM / MDM a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to perform on site, physical duties as related to PC, peripheral, hardware, AV, communications, and automation system deployment, troubleshooting, shipping, receiving and repair including, but not limited to, crawling under desks, lifting, packing, sorting, stacking, moving, and breaking down all the above.
